Elevate Lanka Security Solutions was founded in 2024 by Heshani, a young Sri Lankan entrepreneur who chose to step away from expectations and step into purpose.
Before entering the world of security, Heshani built her foundation in a very different industry. She is a fashion designer by profession, graduating from Northumbria University, UK, with a Major in Fashion, and later completing her Master’s in Business at the University of Wolverhampton. Her journey began in creativity, design, and aesthetics but it evolved into something far more powerful.
Coming from a family already established in the security industry, Heshani grew up watching her parents build, protect, and serve through their own security firm. What began as observation slowly turned into curiosity, and curiosity turned into passion. She trained under them, learned the discipline behind protection, and understood the responsibility that comes with it.
In a field traditionally dominated by men, Heshani stepped forward as a young woman with a different vision. Not to replace the old ways, but to elevate them. To bring structure, professionalism, and a modern mindset into an industry that often goes unseen but is always essential.
With that vision, she founded Elevate Lanka Security Solutions, a company built on trust, discipline, and innovation.
Today, Elevate Lanka stands as more than just a security service provider. It represents a shift. A statement. A belief that leadership has no gender, and ambition has no age.
Heshani’s mission goes beyond protection services. She hopes to inspire a generation of young women and girls in Sri Lanka to show them that they are not limited by industries, expectations, or stereotypes. That whether in fashion or security, creativity or control, they can build anything they believe in.
